1. By Shuttle Bus
You can access the free shuttle bus if you are staying in one of Desaru’s luxury resorts such as The Westin Desaru Resort, Hard Rock Hotel Desaru, and Anantara Desaru Resort.
The shuttle bus will travel within the Desaru Coast area and not the entire Desaru town.

The Desaru Coast area includes:
- Desaru Ferry Terminal
- the luxury resorts mentioned above
- The Els Club Desaru
- Desaru Waterpark
2. By Rent Car
Renting a car will give you the most freedom as you can travel to anywhere around Desaru using a navigation tool like Waze.
There are many car rental options available in JB and Singapore. However, certain attractions are not easy to find and you may miss the exit if you are unfamiliar with the area.
3. By Grab Car Or Local Taxi
You can check for available rides in the area using the Grab app.
However, we do not recommend this option if you are planning to travel outside of Desaru Coast as it is difficult to hire a Grab car or local taxi here.

- If you are a hotel guest at one of the Desaru Coast resorts and plan to visit Desaru Fruit Farm, the hotel can arrange private transportation to take you to the location.
4. By Private Taxi Service
Here’s how to get around Desaru with ease: using a private taxi service. It will allow you to book in advance, which is great for travellers who love to plan ahead.

These private taxi services can be hired for 8 or 10 hours per day to get around town. If you are taking the ferry or bus, you can also book a private taxi to pick you up from the terminal!
